Corning’s New Life Food Pantry Lists Free Monday Fresh-Food Pickup November 2

CORNING, Calif. — October 31, 2026. Residents seeking grocery assistance in the Corning area have a free fresh-food distribution scheduled for Monday morning.

The Corning Chamber of Commerce event calendar lists the New Life Food Pantry fresh-food giveaway for Monday, November 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. at New Life Assembly, 660 Solano Street, Corning, CA.

How the distribution works

The organizer describes the service as a free, walk-up pickup at which visitors can select from the food available that day. The listing asks participants to bring identification. Bags are provided, but residents are encouraged to bring their own reusable bags to help the organization reduce costs.

The pantry says it holds fresh-food giveaways on Mondays. Availability can depend on donations and supply, so people making a significant journey should confirm that the November 2 distribution is going ahead before traveling. The event notice does not guarantee any specific items, quantities or a reservation system.

Where to confirm information

For questions about the distribution, eligibility or changes to the schedule, the event lists (530) 824-3426 as the organization’s contact number. Further information is available through the New Life food pantry website.

Food assistance can be especially important for households stretching fixed incomes and families facing rising grocery costs. This notice is intended to help residents identify an actual local distribution, rather than suggest that supplies are unlimited.
