CORNING, Calif. — October 31, 2026. Corning’s annual Veterans Day Parade is scheduled to return to downtown streets on Wednesday, November 11, with residents invited to attend or take part.
The Corning Chamber of Commerce lists the start for 11 a.m., with the parade beginning outside City Hall at Third and Solano streets and ending by the Veterans Hall at Solano and Houghton Avenue. The event calendar shows an expected time window from 11 a.m. to noon.
Participating in the parade
The organizer says there is no entry fee for parade participants. Pre-registration is encouraged so organizers can estimate the number of entries, but the chamber’s published instructions also say people who have not registered may line up by 10:30 a.m. on November 11. Groups planning vehicles, floats or other special entries should verify current instructions with the chamber.
Gathering after the parade
According to the announcement, the Corning Veterans Resource Center plans a lunch following the parade at the former Miners Inn building, 1301 Solano Street, with burgers, chips and water mentioned in the notice. Details of eligibility and meal availability should be confirmed with organizers.
The annual parade offers a public occasion to recognize veterans and military families. Road access and parking near the route could be affected, but the organizer’s listing does not specify closure times, so residents should check for city or chamber updates before driving downtown.
